Your final numbers and six-figure roadmap.
Hi, I’m Damarys Acevedo. I’ve been behind the chair for nearly 30 years, and I know what it feels like to love the beauty industry while still wondering if the numbers are really working.
I started after leaving my dental assistant job, built clients from home, trained in a Midtown Manhattan salon, moved to Florida, opened a salon, managed expenses, raised prices, made mistakes, and learned what it really takes to build a profitable beauty business.
Talent builds clients. Understanding your numbers builds freedom.
When I first started, no one taught me how to calculate my hourly rate, price my services for profit, or understand what I needed to make every month. Like many cosmetologists, I focused on being great at the craft, but I had to learn the business side through experience.
This Blueprint was created to help you stop guessing. It gives you a place to list your expenses, calculate your income goals, understand your hourly rate, price with more confidence, and see what your business needs to grow.
If I could go back and give my younger self one piece of advice, it would be this: learn the business while you are learning the craft.
Know your hourly rate before setting your prices.
Track every expense. Small costs become big leaks.
Rebooking helps you grow without always chasing new clients.
Profit matters more than looking busy.
Start with the number you want your business to generate this year.
